Having traveled extensively, I’ve not come across pre-packed kilpatrick (Kirkpatrick) oysters, complete with fresh bacon and Worcestershire sauce in a tin server ready to grill. I was shocked by the taste and quality. Served by a smiling young lady. This place is definitely worth visiting…
Very disappointed, yesterday, Sunday, after viewing karuah oyster bar site and the pictures were beautiful with seafood fish prawns etc, we took a dive up there ,a 3hour turn around trip, As soon as I walked in, I was shocked and in disbelief, I even questioned if I was at the same correct place The shop smelt old fishy smell, there were 2 tubs of fish, only mullet and bream, nothing else My sister wanted oysters and got 1 dozen , only to be told that they weren't shucked, and they were tasteless and tiny Also got half kilo ... read more
