I’ve had multiple negative experiences with the receptionist at this clinic. At one of my appointments, I arrived on time only to be told I wasn’t in the system. While that’s a serious issue on its own, what was worse was how I was spoken to. The receptionist blamed me for the mix-up, saying, “You clearly misunderstood, which is not surprising considering you have an accent.” Yes, I have an accent—English is not my first language—but I’ve lived in Australia for years and communicate clearly. I received excellent service from Dr Chan and the team at Karrinyup Dermatology. Dr Chan is personable, professional and practical in his care, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him (and his lovely nurse) to anyone seeking dermatology services.
I came across Karrinyup Dermatology seeking help regarding acne and was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to see Dr Catriona Hayes as a patient. I have honestly never come across such a caring, thoughtful, as well as extremely knowledgeable doctor who is helpful with explaining and helping you understand as much possible.
