Let me start by saying that I'm a typical husband and waited until the last moment to get my wife her birthday cake. I called on Friday just a few hours before the shop closed without much faith in being able to get a cake. When I called Karen she asked what type of cake I was looking for. I told her a Strawberry Shortcake style/flavor cake. She said that she could do her version of it only because she had some cake left that day.
