If you are disabled, your unmarried children under the age 18 (or 19 if still in school full time) may be eligible for Social Security benefits. Also, older unmarried children who are over 18 who are also disabled will be eligible.

Insurance companies who issue long-term and permanent disability policies are looking for any reason not to pay, and they will go to great length to find one. Do not let their underhanded tactics cause you to lose your benefits.

Disability claimants should not attend a disability hearing decided by a federal administrative law judge without representation by a social security disability attorney. Without representation, the chances of a claimant winning approval at the hearing level are comparatively low.

If you become unable to work, long-term disability benefits can be a lifesaver. Having the correct evidence to back up your claim is essential when you're filing an initial claim. A disability attorney knows what questions to ask your doctors and which vocational experts to consult, so you'll have the best chance of being approved.

Did you know that around 70% of social security disability claims are denied initially? This is just one of the many reasons why following the guidance of an experienced Disabilities Law Attorney is a smart move.

Have you been hesitant to contact an attorney because you aren’t sure whether your disability benefit denial is even worth fighting in appeal? Remember, it’s always better to consult with an attorney when you don’t have a case than to simply let it go when you did have a case.

We understand that filing for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is difficult and confusing. We know that claimants are experiencing the most trying time of their lives, so our goal is to help clients as much as we can.
