I cannot speak highly enough of Karen! I reached out to her one evening praying for a miracle that she would have availability the next day. I am 33 weeks pregnant and had just been to the ER for terrible back pain and had to get back into work asap. Luckily enough she made availability for me and gave me such specialized and individual care. She gave me before and after care steps and truly listened to my needs. Yes, you should absolutely book a session with Karen. I recently received a pre-op abdominal treatment from her and I feel better than I’ve felt in months. Although my own surgery is medically necessary, I can absolutely see how her work could prevent the need for surgery for other issues relating to the abdomen and womb. Karen has a beautiful, safe and inviting space, energy and presence. I had an extremely deep reaction to the work she did. I have had a fair amount of abdominal work over the years, but I've never experienced the nurturing, loving, mothering energy that I felt through Karen's hands. I was pleasantly surprised that cupping along my C-sections and other abdominal scar wasn't painful. I just saw Karen for the first time during my 4th pregnancy, and her knowledge for pregnancy & birth is so reassuring that she is the right person to take care of my body during the pregnancy + beyond! I am excited for my future appointments with her
Karen was so welcoming and professional, and made sure to show me how to do self massages to manage my back pain at home. She was intentional, thorough, even gave me extra time past our appointment to make sure we hit all the goals she had for our appointment. I will definitely be returning to her and recommend her practice to any expecting mamas!
