I am not a big believer in reviews. Life is about forging your own path rather relying on the paths of others to help make your decisions. I do however believe Medical Negligence is different. Pursuing a claim is not for the faint hearted. It is an exhausting, relentless slog during what is probably a traumatic time and it needs all sorts of skills, not least perserverance and courage. I cannot thank Kare Lawyers enough for their hard work and support during what has been the most difficult time of my life. Renee Eglinton initially presented as empathetic and capable, but when unexpected, last‑minute pressure arose, her performance deteriorated significantly. The outcome we received was far below what had been advised or reasonably expected. She recommended appointing a barrister at the eleventh hour; although he was unimpressive, I am ultimately glad we had someone else present.
