I’m in a very abusive relationship and was denied as they aren’t an entitlement agency. They took forever to get back with me just to tell me they can’t help me. I’ve got children in the home as well. If anything happens to me or my children this agency is to blame.
Shana who contacted me was kind, but I was denied services due to income and caseload by the manager. Which, if I could afford a private attorney and especially given my situation, being in an abusive marriage where my life has been threatened multiple times and where I could funnel the money without his knowledge I'd have done that.
