At 85 years old and a valid license from another state, plus being a US citizen since birth, I was surprised to learn all of the documents needed to get a Kansas license. I was upset after making 4 trips to this place. Yesterday, I finally got my license and found the 2 employees who assisted me to be very pleasant.

I was turned away twice because my valid out-of-state marriage certificate “looked different” than what staff expected. They implied my documents, including my Social Security card and DoD ID, might be fake. I called the state that issued my certificate and confirmed it was correct. Only after calling the DMV again and waiting for them to get approval from Topeka did they finally accept it—the exact same document I brought the first two times. Respuesta equivocada en la computadora cuando se responden bien (eje) una vía de doble sentido es dividida por una línea continua amarilla pero la computadora la marca mal y dice que es blanca)
