Buses don’t show up & the app will tell you they are OR they’re early & don’t tell you so you end up missing it. People who use it for work or to get home are out of luck. The pay machines in the bus don’t work half the time & the drivers don’t tell you they’re down until AFTER you’ve already purchased the ride pass. The upgrade is NOT worth it & we’re paying for nothing! KCATA needs to do better.

Buses don't show up. Using the app will lie and tell you a bus is otw there never shows up. Calling customer service will get another lie telling you a bus is almost there and it never shows up. #35 bus West bound shouldn't even be offered. It never runs. At all. 12.21.26 8-930am

Veterans beware. KCATA states that give veterans a 50% discount, however they do not. When I board the bus it shows that there is a discount, however at the end of the day when they charge me they charge the full fare. I don't appreciate dishonest people, especially when they say they give a discount and they don't. Also all the additional routes and services they had during fifa, and were supposedly going to leave in place after it was over, are now canceled. A little disappointed that the bus drivers are quick to have you pay in 2026 but the buses look like they haven't been clean since 1996 they are filthy. Kcata needs to do better the buses according to them are cleaned everyday I got on the bus at 7:20am I get off of work at 7am no reason if cleaned everyday it should look like this after just two routes
