I ended up going to the Cross Lanes Sheriff Office. I called the Charleston tax office for information and they were extra helpful. Anyway I went to Cross Lanes and walked right in. No steps and I use a walker. Just one clerk and she was very nice and friendly. Five stars ⭐ for Kanawha County sheriff department employees.

Didn't even want to leave one star. Rudest people I have ever talked to. Heaven forbid you have to call and pay your taxes. I usually pay mine online so this was a first, I hope I never have to call again. Phone was slammed at the end of our conversation all I did was call to pay bc the ticket online said I had to. Rude rude rude!
