I question whether or not this law firm is real or actually a scam. They put liens out on people’s houses for the HOA, but then NEVER answer their phones. Michelle L. Polly-Murphy specifically has never called back or answered her phone. I am not sure if she is a real employee at this firm. Please never work with this law firm unless you’re looking to come out at a loss.
I am trying to help my mom rectify an HOA issue with this law firm and we've called multiple times and left messages with the attorney handling the case. We've not received any responses whatsoever. Each time we call, every single receptionist tells us that there is only record of one voice mail when we've left 6 voicemails to date. This is the most horrendous experience I've encountered. This firm recorded a lien against my property asserting $6,481.73 owed for debt dating back to 2007 and for a time period I didn't even own the home after their original lien was no longer valid - and even that isn't an accurate assessment of the original lien as it was void from it's inception. Their own client's account portal showed $0.00 balance for over a year (5 to be exact) prior to that recording, documented by video and screenshots. Truly dishonorable people. I was away from my home in Ohio since April 2025 working on a long assignment out of state. In September 2025 I received notice that I was sued by them and a judgment was obtained against me without having any ability to defend myself Since I did not reçu initial notice of this legal action.
