The place is cute, the lady was very friendly- but the chocolate isn't good & too expensive! I bought 4 meltaways- after having a sample of one- and they tasted like they had been sitting out in the open for several days. They did not tast fresh. Also, I bought the mint & mocha- you wouldn't have been able to tell, because they didn't have the slightest minty or mocha-y flavor. I was very disappointed!
The finest in Chocolate. Kaaps chocolates are the best that we have tried in Wisconsin. Their chocolate is the best tasting. We especially like their angel food candy. My husband eats a pound a week.(he is not fat). He's sorry when spring comes and he can't purchase it because it doesn't do well in warm weather. I love picking up his purchase because I can sample other varieties. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. Thank God for Kaaps.
Kapps Candy Store kapps is the place to buy the finest candy in the area. Whenever we head for San Diego, we always have to purchase several boxes of candy for our relatives and friends. Friendly people working in the store and samples are always available.
Happy Birthday Our son and daughter in law,purchased two boxes of Kaaps Old World Chocolates for his father's birthday. It was a most plesent and tasteful supprise. I have not tasted chocolates since I worked for the Daisy Lane Candy Shop in Newburgh, NY. This gift brought many finememories of very fine chocolate candy experienced. The cocolate gram crackers are our favoriates and we look forward to enjoying each one. We must conserve the amount we consume due to other conditions. Good truffles Don't let this little store deceive you! What a great place to go for special occasion or gift chocolates. My husband and I both enjoy their selection of dark and milk chocolate truffles. We also have both had excellent service. They have even let us sample different truffles, which other shops aren't so quick to do. Very good and worth the price. They also have different gift items in the store, but expect to pay a bit more just for the convenience of having it there.
