Would suggest avoiding this firm. Was forced to move from a retiring CPA and wound up at this firm. They exploited the situation at every turn. Not a single tax return was done correctly at first and one is still pending from 2023 with the IRS. The billing is high and the mistakes are frequent and lack of advice is poor. You’re definitely just a number.

Our previous CPA retired, and we were transitioned to Kirk Evans, CPA. Unfortunately, the experience has not been the same. Customer service and sensitivity training are definitely needed. Additionally, there’s no proactive effort to maximize your tax return—paperwork is simply processed as if you were using H&R Block online yourself. We ultimately decided to leave.

I have used the firm's secure online client portal to both communicate with the firm and to exchange documents with them during the prep of our tax return. I found this to be a very convenient and time efficient means for doing business with them since I reside in a city other than Frisco. I appreciate the fact that the firm offers this technology to its clients.
