Great store! Even though I worked at a competing surf shop, I would occasionally shop here for there amazing clearance items! They also have more skateboard trucks than other surf shops, but not as many as McGills Skate Shop. I like K-5 because they have lots of sales and events. The Encinitas store is particularly well-laid out (easy to find things)!
WARNING: Very Bad Experience I was accosted and verbally abused by Patrick, an employee of K-five, in the parking lot at 5:15pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 and will NEVER set foot in this place as long as that psycho is working there. I tried to shake his hand and make nice but he was belligerent, bound and determined to harass me in front of my young son. BEWARE - the boy is deeply disturbed and possibly dangerous. Do NOT take your children near him !! As for K-Five, it seems decent but there are better shops in the area ... read more
