Just like home is an amazing facility. My mother has been a resident for the past year and is doing exceptionally well. She has her own bedroom and bathroom and is well taken care of. The facility provides meals daily where residents sit together and dine as if they were in their own home, as well as hosting family gatherings for Holidays where everyone is invited. My mom had a Great experience at Just Like Home. The staff was very friendly and senitive to my mom's needs. They also FaceTime my family to allow mom to see our family.
Just Like Home is a special place. Dierdre made my mom feel just like home and welcomed her in during a very tough time in her life. A private residential home is a very unqiue setting that really has a calming affect knowing that your family member is in a safe place. I can't say enough good things about how my mom was treated. Clear communication was appreciated very step of the way.
STAFF IS OVER WORKED!!! SUPER UNDER PAID!!! OWNER IS NOT FAIR TO THE WORKERS!!! CAN’T KEEP STAFF AND WORKERS ARE TREATED LIKE SLAVES!!! 7 individuals in the home only two staff working hard from the time we wake up till the time we go to bed. NOT A GOOD PLACE TO WORK!!
Deirdre and Just Like Home have developed a great alternative to the large, impersonal and expensive assisted living facilities. When looking for a facility for our father, we happened to hear about Deirdre's smaller facilities through a friend and were instantly impressed with what she created. Cozy, friendly, fully updated and welcoming. That and the team there really helped eased what is a difficult transition for an elderly parent. Thanks Deirdre!
