I suppose this shop is OK if you are looking for small fossils and stones, but they carry fake and overpriced fossils being sold as authentic as well. Initially I wanted to give them two stars, but I don't think they deserve it considering they are openly willing to scam people. I would not trust any of the information given about some of their specimens. For example, they were selling a taxidermy painted bat, which is a South East Asian species of bat, and labeled it as being sourced from Texas. Note also that all SEA bats ... read more

Fossils were really cool, but the lady behind the counter was super mean. I wanted to take a picture of something to show my husband who wasn't with me and she rudely barked at me and told me I couldn't take a picture and I asked her why. She just said, 'because I said so." What the heck am I going to do with a picture? Seriously? and then she proceeded watch me continously until I left the store. Im a high school earth science teacher and was going to by a fossil for my class, but ill never buy from this place now.

Very very very expensive. 2-4 times what you should be paying for small tumbles, run-of-the-mill charms, selenite. Trick of the trade: a small selenite tower should run 15-25 dollars. Here it’s $40-50. If their prices were reasonable they would likely sell more. It’s a shame that a collector like myself can’t pick up a piece here and there at her local rock shop. Larger pieces - forget it. Might as well save up and go to the big shows.
