To start with, I wish I was able to give this Junko Hair Studio a ZERO star. I went to this place for Japanese Rebounding (Hair Straightening), and was unfortunate enough to receive a very careless treatment. The Hair stylist didn't wash the chemicals off my hair properly and the residue of the chemical burnt the hair roots. My hair roots (all over) feel hard and thorny and there are three places on the scalp (of the size of a quarter coin) where the burn is so bad that I lost hairs at those places and I look bald there. All these are sad. But what is disgusting and heartbreaking is the fact that the owner Ms. Sudha is an unbelievable careless, ruthless, irresponsible unprofessional business woman. I called them...they asked me to write an email and send pictures. I did that. They didn't bother to even acknowledge the email. Then I called them. The owner received the call, and in less than two minutes, she banged the phone right on my face....when I was midway on what I was saying. (I GOT A SHOCK. Is this what you do to your customer who trusted you with her hair, and indirectly her looks and appearance?) Anyway, I kept calling back, they kept disconnecting the call. Finally, after 4-5 attempts someone else took the call (the owner didn't come back on the phone). He did listen to the issues, but to only disregard everything that I said. I COULDN'T BELIEVE when he said that I might have burnt my hair, but no way I can prove that their product did this to me. Really???? @ Dear Ms. Sudha (the owner): If you don't trust your customer, who would you? Pls know that acknowledging a mistake or at least the issue, and a bit of empathy goes a long way in making the customer feel better with their loss.And at least be a woman enough to talk to people. The way you ran away shows your incompetence and your fear of being questioned/taking responsibility. @ People reading this review: Know that Janko Hair Studio will treat you like a shit once you have paid the money and stepped out of their studio. The owner is the worst business woman you could ever meet. Please be careful with this place, if you love your hair/looks
