Being new to the city of Charlotte I wanted to meet people but I also wanted to volunteer as well. The JLC provided a way to do both! Almost five years later I have not only met some wonderful women and volunteered with some great organizations, but also gained great personal and leadership skills. Junior League of Charlotte provides so many great opportunities for members to developed their leadership skills and participate within the community. I’ve learned so much about organizations throughout Charlotte who were started by or have been a partner of the league for many years. JLC offers a great chance to get involved with the community and develop skills that easily translate outside the organization.
