I called to inquire on a rental car for our upcoming visit to Juneau and had the delight of speaking with Kimberly! She was very informative, answered all of our questions, confirmed everything with us and was a pleasure to speak with. Pick-up and drop off is right at the Cruise pier!! She sent us an email confirmation right away and even gave some tips on other things to see and a place to get some fish and chips!! I rented a car in Juneau for the day we were in port from a cruise ship. The car was a reasonable cost, fitted our needs, but wasn't especially new or fancy. The navigation screen did not work for our phones which was a disappointment. Communication while setting up the rental was great. Closer to the rental the communication adequate, but not great. Amazing service!! Easy Pickup and Drop Off in a parking lot adjacent to the Pier. Great communication from Juneau Car Rental on how the process works. Great value, why pay cruise ship prices for excursions when you can take your whole party out in Juneau Rental car for a fraction of the price. We beat the crowds to Mendenhall. Therese Shrine, Treadwell Mine and Point Louisa are hidden gems. Saw a bear up by Therese, hit a number of scenic overlooks and the salmon ladder. Seamless and easy rental experience. (Makes me wonder why there are always such long lines airport car rental pick up). We were a group of 11 so we wanted a large van to drive to the glacier. Booked online and received email confirmation. Two days before, the pick-up info and contract were emailed. They knew our ship was at AJ Dock so the van was parked nearby (no need for the shuttle). It worked out much cheaper than all of us taking a tour bus to the glacier.
