We reserved a car for a specific time and it was not available. We called the day before and the dat of and just got a recording. NO Call back. We received an email 17 min. After our appointment time, telling us the location of the car. We were on a time line, so I had already rented another car. The Juneau car rental company said they were short of staff was the reason our email came late. I still requested a full refund to no avail. Good luck if you choose this company.
Terrible customer service. We rented a premium SUV for the day. They sent our car pickup info and location. The car was not there at all. After more than 20 calls going unanswered and an hour and a half waiting in Juneau thinking our plans were ruined, someone called us back- they had assigned a different car to us without telling us. The pros: close to cruise port and easy. The cons: rough cars and mediocre communication. I would have liked a little more communication to confirm as the time approached. But it worked out fine. The car was very old and high mileage. Very worn with major cosmetic issues in and out. Got us from point A to point B. Oil Change overdue by a few thousand miles and severely cracked windshield (probably my main issue). Was also dirty with broken chips on the floor. Texted back when returned as asked. Very disappointing customer service. I inquired about 2 vans as we are a large group. Not even an Hi and maybe we can help you with other options.
Only place in town that could accommodate a van for our group size. Airport drop off and pick up, and great rates. Good customer service with fast response times.
