I took the beginner’s wheel throwing course with Kris and had a fantastic experience. The studio has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it instantly makes you feel at home, even if you’re brand new to ceramics. Kris is a great instructor - patient, clear, and fun to learn from. The studio has become one of my favorite places to spend creative time. Also, a big shoutout to the owner Ashley! I just finished the 6-week beginner pottery class with Kris and had a great time. It was challenging at first, but Kris is fantastic at breaking things down and explaining techniques in different ways until it clicks. He’s patient, encouraging, and creates a relaxed, fun atmosphere where everyone can learn at their own pace. I’m so glad I took this class and would highly recommend it to anyone curious about pottery.
I recently completed the 6-week beginner pottery course taught by Kris and had a blast. Kris was informative, kind, and helpful and the class was great for beginners like myself - I had only done the 2 hour introductory lesson a couple of weeks prior. I could see and feel my progress every week and have loved using the things I made. Highly recommend for anyone interested in learning pottery in a fun, laid back environment with great people.
I purchased the cute mug in the photo attached and love it! I have supported June and Gem before they had this studio and not only do they do phenomenal art; they’re also such a great and inclusive person! It’s a 10/10 for me 🫶🏼
