I responded to an offer on the website for a January special and discussed with retreat personnel available dates this week and details; by phone and text. Everything was a go until I asked for a 3 night January special invoice. The business' response said it could not invoice until I paid a deposit to make the reservation. It ended the response by saying the retreat would not be a good fit for me. Of course it wouldn't be. I need a legitimate offer and an invoice before agreeing to a payment by credit card.
