I had a very poor experience with July Business Services related to my retirement plan distribution. I initiated a distribution and was told it would take 7–14 days, but it took more than 30 days before any payment occurred. When the payment finally arrived, the amount was significantly wrong — I received around $1,445 instead of my vested balance of about $6,009 — and no calculation statement was provided to explain the discrepancy. These guys don't care about customers. They drag their feet with your money. Customer service is pointless In this company.
If I could less than 1 star I would. If you are a small business owner do not give yourself the headache of working with July Services. The details of the plan, ie the fees, were misrepresented. The website had many problems and was difficult to use. They wanted the personal data of employees in my business that never even used their services. They charge outrageous fees over something that they can help prevent. If my account isn’t able to work I should be able to update it to one that does and not be charged a extra $50 each account. The communication is terrible. They make the process miserable all around. I didn’t choose them and I never will.
