Julia's newborn portraits of our son are among our most treasured things from those early days of parenthood. She is patient, funny, considerate, and completely at ease among kids. We've also had her take family portraits and certainly plan on hiring her to shoot newborn portraits of our second (due spring 2012). Julia captures the intimate moments that make life worth preserving. We had a maternity shoot with her, and she helped freeze a moment in time when our family was on the cusp of our new addition. Also, I worked with Julia at BACKPACKER magazine, and she was a top-notch photo editor who helped the magazine stay on deadline and win awards.
