I saw Dr Edelman for about a year. I ran out of a prescription that is regularly used for atrophy and called her office for an appointment. I also asked if she could renew the prescription now, as I ran out and would schedule an appointment for an annual exam. She said no. I scheduled an appt for today but caught Covid and couldn’t make appt. I would have liked to have been a patient but unfortunately because of my insurance I was denied an appointment. I checked with my insurance to make sure this Dr was a participating provider which they confirmed she was. I called to get set up and asked the receptionist if they were accepting new patients. Her answer was "What's your insurance"? I told her and she immediately said "no we are not". I was quite disappointed. Because I don't have a top of the line insurance I was denied an appointment.
