The girl was very good at telling us all about the motorhome. She definitely helped keep the nerves away. The only short side is when putting star RV on Uber, our driver took us to the wrong place and we had to walk 15 mins to the jucy depot with our suitcases
The Jucy vans have no air vent in the lounge area anywhere past the drivers or passenger side! Total sauna during the day if you need to sleep after an early flight into Cairns! The towels provided are like tea towels in quality, lol. The pillow cases stunk of previous sweat patrons/hirers!!! $250 for toilet if you don't get it cleaned prior returning it. $5,000 deposit if you want to avoid the lower excess in case of damage! Still $45-$60 per day for lower excess reduction with $1,000 holding deposit.
We loved our experience. The van was well equipped
Picking up the van was great - very helpful and friendly and in excellent condition. When we had a leisure electrical problem while away the support was appalling. A total zero. No answer on phone lines and a not very useful response by email. We resolved the problem by accident (just kept pressing Boultons on control panel) but we would have appreciated advice when we needed - if something more serious happens will we get the help needed?.
