AUD 700 for the smallest campervan. It had 130,000km on it and it looked and smelt like it. Doors would not unlock, radio was missing buttons and the main knob, dusty and filthy. When we picked it up we were hit with fees for everything and I could not use my citylink account I had to use theirs. Would not recommend JUCY car/StarRV at all. Got our StarRV motor home (which was actually quite roomy and nice on the interior hence 2 star review) and had a two week trip planned. After about 3 hours of driving a small part in the engine came loose and vehicle broke down on the side of the road. This was around 7pm and we rang all three numbers provided by JUCY/StarRV for 24/7 breakdown assistance. Please never go to Jucy, the tire flat last night. Unable to change the spare tire due to the lock of the tire rusted ( unable to unlock ). Contacted them more than 10 times, no solution given. Went to this branch, it was closed down in 2022
We got wrong informations about the vehicle and the insurance from the employees. They said we are fully insured and we did not have to leave any deposit or credit card details. We returned the vehicle and everything was ok, but after a few days they charged us a huge amount, because suddenly we were not insured anymore. As we did not leave a deposit nor credit card details, they just used our bank card details from the card we have paid with.
