Experience started off amazing. I worked with David M. and Ben W. After David shifted to another case, I continued working with Ben, which was great for a while until we got closer to the end of my case. I raised a billing dispute for services I never authorized. I’m using an anonymous account for privacy, as I am in the process of taking legal action against my employer. I respectfully request that the firm not reveal my real name in any responses. It was surprising to experience how Smithey Law, an “employment” law firm, treats potential clients. I filled out an intake form on Thursday, November 21st. The legal team assigned to my case were highly competent, professional, and worked with a sense of urgency while representing me. The biggest waste of money, I would not recommend this law office. I contacted them in late 2024 and early 2025 and the fee that I paid did not in any form match the legal advice I received. I actually paid more because I wanted the expertise of Joyce, it wasn’t worth it. Appointments were frequently canceled at the last minute and follow up conversations never happened. I’d strongly suggest you hire an attorney who seems as interested in helping you as taking your money.
