Thye will sell you anything you want, except the bike you actually want. I have never had an experience where my opinion has mattered, the sales guys pushing some casual bike that I do not want. Like any other reviews, if they drop the ball like: schedule a pickup during hours they are closed, "missing" damage in repairs, and simply informing you when an order is in, it will always be accompanied with some lecture on how the customer just doesn't understand how the business works. Joy Ride is easily the best bike shop in Logan. I’ve been going here for a while, and they’ve always treated me right. Jacob is awesome — he really knows his stuff, takes the time to explain what’s going on, and makes sure my bike rides perfectly every time. The whole crew is friendly, honest, and easy to work with. It’s just a solid local shop run by people who clearly care about what they do and who they do it for 49ers
Updated today… still unhappy!!! Wouldn’t sell me a seat post! Unwilling to help me figure out so now I have to drive another hour around!!! Not happy with the bike tune service. So I’m there and I agree. Then when they get to my bike they tell me the bottom bracket is gritty...and it’s another $24 on top of the $150.(Something I didn’t think needed addr... read more
took my wheel in for new spokes and a true, and the service team (hi, Brandon!) helped me with a new wheel after talking with me about my bike and riding style. in the end, they also identified several other problems and were still able to get me out the door for less ($440) than another shop wanted for just a new wheel ($650+). i’m super pleased with Joyride’s service and keen attention to detail. it’s nice when your local bike shop’s OCD matches your own! stop fixing the symptoms and start shredding trails faster at Joyrid... read more
I brought my bike to Joy Ride Bicycles after a friend recommended them. I had just bought it used on KSL and was excited to get it tuned up and ready to ride—especially since it’s my first full suspension mountain bike and I wasn’t sure what it might need. I asked them to look it over, recommend what was necessary, and set up the tires tubeless. They suggested their “Obsessive Compulsive Tune” ($110) and a new chain. I told them to go ahead with whatever it needed and to keep me updated. A few days later, they recommended a ... read more
