Run away from this credit union if you ever think to join. The people are very nice, it's true, but the credit union functions in another century. Some days it takes hours to reach a human being. I lost thousands of dollars because of NEFCU's ridiculous rules - I have a home equity line of credit with them and they would NOT subordinate a refinance that my bank was offering me that had no closing costs. Instead I had to do a conventional refinance with thousands in closing costs!! And in addition, NEFCU had the nerve to char... read more
