Banking at Jovia is great especially with Carmine at Rockville center Merrick Rd!!
i can’t believe this place, I am having hard time adding my debit card to my Apple wallet due to the fact that Jovia’s system does not recognize the card issued. I just received a call from some very incompetent employee who told me, “ sorry but if we do not see the card on our system, we can not help you with the issue” and hang up. Does it mean that I am one of the few unlucky persons in planet Earth for which Apple Wallet won’t work for this specific bank, I have added my other banks without any issue. Someone from this branch was trying to scam me on the phone!!! They sent fake messages about my debit card having a declined transaction and that someone would contact me soon about it. They called from this number a few times and it kept getting disconnected and was fishy. So I called my real bank and spoke to someone there and they said my account was fine and this was a phishing scam.
4 stars only because there needs to be a better ATM... Faster operation when depositing money, and more than one machine. And second, when I went to open a new checking account with my 20 year old son who had a youth savings account since birth, the young African American woman who sat in the back corner desk near the window at the Rockville Centre branch was just pure magic and kind and funny too, but "the system was down". Wow! I went to the ATM, and the system kept coming up can't process at this time. I thought ok maybe it's this machine at the corporate office so I tried another branch. Same thing. Then I called the number on the back of the card.. Put in my credentials, and it refused to recognize my info. 🤯 Called the bank at 9 am. this morning, and. the operator had no clue either.
