I walked down Fifth Ave to explore Bryant Park again. In the middle where the ice rink is during the winter, it is now a grant grassy area with a stage facing the NY Public Library. Just behind the band stand stage, I found the Josephine Shaw Lowell fountain. Josephine was a progressive advocate for social reform. She died in 1905.
