We were told we were getting a refund. There was an estimated quarterly tax notice as part of our return and I was unsure about it so I called them back and asked. I was told to ignore it. 6 weeks later we received an over due bill from the IRS, including interest and a late fee. When I called Joe he said it was a “miscommunication.” I told him that it was his mistake and I wanted our fee for his services back, AND an explanation about getting a bill instead of a refund.
