Joseph and Hetrick have been doing my taxes for years and have made this experience stress free. Every year when I have to gather all my tax documents they seem to improve their process with an up to date planner that makes it so much easier for someone like me who used to spend days and weeks gathering all that information. Now it takes only hours and a few reminders that I need one or 2 more things. I would highly recommend this firm for their attention to detail, their expertise and mostly for their human concern.
The price they charge for basic tax preparation is borderline criminal. They prepared a joint file for myself and my wife for $1500. When we interviewed them they talked about tax minimization strategies related to RSUs and other services I would expect for a $1500 tax filing, but none of these strategies were ever extended to us or even explained. They also incorrectly filed out last return when they forgot to include energy saving credits. I had to review the entire return myself to tell them to refile. What a horrible job... read more

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about the folks at Joseph & Hetrick. There's a great blend of professionalism, kindness, and competence there, and I greatly appreciate how much they go out of their way to make my part of the job (gathering the information) easier. My own bookkeeping has been less than prompt or organized, and I have only ever felt supported, never judged, in getting things caught up and on track.
