If I could give him a half star I would. Hire a better lawyer do not let him defend you or your loved ones.
In my experience with Mr Montes, I came to find that he was very honest and forthcoming with everything in my case .As well, the outcome and what was needed from me for a better outcome. I would recommend Mr Montes for anybody that wants a lawyer with a no BS attitude and anybody who would like less time spent in the courtroom.
This lawyer violated your rights, I was in jail for a year and a half, first month in I demanded a speedy trial and he never got it done, he said he was but lied about giving documents, reports, he doesn't follow the rules of professional conduct.... If you get this lawyer file a grievance with the Texas bar against him because he's going to screw you over.... THIS ATTORNEY IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. HE DID NOT RESPOND TO MOST OF MY CALLS OR TEXTS. HE DID NOT WORK HARD ON MY CASE. HE DIDNT CARE ABOUT MY FREEDOM. IF YOU NEED AN ATTORNEY WHO WILL ACTUALLY REVIEW YOUR EVIDENCE TO PREPARE FOR A DEFENSE, I WOULD NOT DEPEND ON HIM. CHOOSE ANOTHER ATTORNEY!
