My brother and I have both used Mr. Bertram, and our experiences have been completely different from some of the reviews here. He's a lawyer through and through. He's direct, straightforward, and focused on the legal issue at hand—not on telling you what you want to hear. Personally, that's exactly what I want in an attorney. Jorisch Bertram has demonstrated to me why some individuals aren't suited to be lawyers for ethical, mental health, and safety-related reasons, because they may love to argue, but clearly don't care about those whom they are bound by law to serve. I was referred to Bertram through a law firm that's partnered with a service called Legal Shield, several years ago, to fight a traffic ticket. Very bad communication. This Lawyer has never touched base with me since I was referred to him. His answering service team even stated that he's not great at communication. For a simple case that could have been done by any lawyer, I highly recommend that you do not waste your time or money especially if its a high profile case. If you don't believe me, try calling to yourself.
