It should be against the law for any emergency room doctor to be picky about which insurance they take, and to flat-out refuse Medicaid. I disagree about the staff being professional, they seem to have their head in the sand that patients have to deal with insurance and live in a la-la land where everyone has money. I've researched this issue more as a voter (prior to emergency eye injury) than the whole staff has seemed to research it even though it's their job.

Friendly, professional staff. They really put effort to get to know you. They are not fast paced so plan on spending time with them. Facility is clean. They are patient with elderly. Restrooms available in hallway on both floors. Elevator convenient.
