I recently purchased skates and my daughter was having extremely difficult time skating. I sought out this skate shop and spoke with a very knowledgeable person Lori. I explained what was happening and she offered her phone number and asked that I take pictures and send them to her, as I live 45 minutes away. I'm not sure about that review from Nicole C. from 2 years ago - never heard of Mrs. Jones behaving that way and we have been going into this shop about 2 years now. Mrs. Jones is very knowledgeable - although she has little patience for wafflers... she is very efficient, can seem brusque at times - but if you tell her what your skater is doing (how many hours on ice, what level they skate) she knows just the right skate to put them into. The owner of this shop is absolutely the rudest employee I have ever had to deal with- and, just a pretty awful person. I had to get some skates sharpened for a girl I nanny. I got to the shop a little early- it was 9:45, they open at 10:00- so I was waiting outside. A woman pulled up beside my car and started to haul in boxes.
