Awesome customer service, the owner is warm and helpful, we hired three bikes for the Hauraki bike trail which starts just outside the shop, very happy with the ride !
Our Thule bike carrier, carrying 2 E bikes on our motorhome, was damaged on our way from Waikanae, Kapiti coast, to Whitianga. The carrier could not be reattached to the tow bar ball and we could not carry the bikes! And a long way from home!! I emailed jolly bikes in Thames and they arranged with Thule in Christchurch to have replacement parts sent to Whitianga. Superb old fashion service which got us out of a difficult situation far from home. Can’t recommend highly enough - thank you Jollybikes. Brian Ranford
Such a big help, my derailleur was out and they found the issue and helped fix it same day.
We hired 2 adult e-bikes, 2 kids’ bikes and an excellent kids’ bike trailer from Jolly Bikes while touring New Zealand in a camper van, and the whole experience was fantastic. My sister and I visited this shop today to get an idea of pricing for a e-bike, with plans of eventually purchasing one. However, we won’t be returning to this shop to buy anything - I would recommend you remove small product shelves from being placed near your sales counters, I’d go as far as to say you should perhaps have counters staffed if nervous with potential customers in store browsing.
