Spectacular brunch food. Loved the ambience, the customer service folks were very friendly and food was great. Must try the scones, Mac n cheese and lemon ricotta pancakes! We met the proprietor Johnston who is from Ireland. He was extremely welcoming and was part of the lovely restaurant experience. It's like you already knew the folks in the restaurant - certainly had a neighborhood vibe to it. Must try!!
Great new restaurant in San Carlos. Think San Francisco comes to the mid-Peninsula. Food is homey and tasty. Owners really thought through all the nice and thoughtful decorative touches like blankets in the seating area. Dinner and brunch are very good. Lots of repeat customers, which says something.
Love The Salt Box it never disappoints!
Was looking forward to this and I was not disappointed! Thanks to Sean and the staff for looking after us so well. The Summer Pasta was amazing. Can't recommend it enough.
