I needed a quote to move a friend's piano she was giving away. While we ended up passing on the piano, I was impressed by Johnson's lightning-fast response to my form submission within a few minutes, and subsequent immediate and thorough responses to my emails to iron out the details of the move and get me a price. The quote was super reasonable and we would've moved forward had we not changed our minds about the piano. Highly recommend based on my experience!
I was looking for movers to transport a concert grand as I was moving out of state. I had talked to several movers and some of them were not able to move concert grands where stairs are concerned and others charged astronomical fees. highly disappointed in the response I got after they damaged the bottom of the piano. this is the second time that I’ve used them, and they are the only Movers that I have used for my piano. it appears that the gentleman that they send out didn’t have enough power to lift it up the steps going into the house and it’s scraped the bottom. when I reported this, they took their time coming out and then I had to follow up with them. I had an excellent experience with these movers recently. Very good communication. They were on time, polite, and moved the piano efficiently and flawlessly up stairs and around a tight corner without a trace. Would highly recommend.
Today the guys from Johnson's Piano Moving, out of Laurel MD, heroically moved our grand piano from Pennsylvania to our home in Virginia. They said stairs wouldn't be a problem for them, and with a little help from Super Ramp, some bug spray, and a lot of sweat, they were right! The piano is now safely placed in it's new home. 🙂
