I was referred to Mr. Tamsma by a friend and while he appears to be a good attorney, I would have to 'ding' him on his professionalism. I called to schedule an appointment/consult with his assistant. At the appointed time/date, Mr Tamsma called an hour late only to inform me that his assistant never should've scheduled this appointment without consulting him as he was too busy right now to discuss this. Gary Javore as mediator is first rate. I have mediated multiple cases with Gary over the years, very successfully. His knowledge of Texas law, contracts, and insurance in the construction space is invaluable in helping parties understand the risks in not resolving their disputes on their terms. He is an excellent listener and very able communicator. He is also empathetic. Not all resolutions are peachy and rosey - but clients have expressed real satisfaction in Gary's willingness to work hard to push for resolution.
