Carelink at the beginning was great or should I say Kirsten is the one I associated with and had no problems with but lately it's been terrible I'm in between workers and it seems they can't find a worker for me especially one that does her or his job and doesn't sit on her phone to hours , I have to rely on myself to try to clean my apartment and take out the trash , do dishes etc and everything a worker would do even though I can hardly stand up verylong let alone walk too far but I guess somehow I will try all because nob... read more

This place really is a village of special people. I've become family instantly with them and I love our time together. If you've got time, please come share an hour of visiting, or a talent, or food or anything you like. It's a privilege to come here and be with them. My mom stayed at HPCV for 3 weeks after total hip replacement surgery. Thank you to everyone who cared for her. She received exceptional care from therapy, nurses, attendants, front desk, kitchen, house keeping and anyone else I may have left out. Our family highly recommends HPCV. My mom is now home and good as new ! God bless !

Yes, this is where God’s people work together! I’ve been employed here for over a year and a half & I have seen first hand the love of Christ demonstrated by many in the facility - patients & staff alike! Never before have I worked with so many kind, genuine, and professional people. I am truly blessed to be part of this organization where we have the liberty to pray for one another and be encouraged in Christ... it makes all the difference!

I stayed there for 3 weeks doing Physical Therapy the first of the year after I had a knee replacement..Excellent Staff in both the PT department and the nursing/caregivers departments..It must be a popular place because when in April I wanted to return there for PT again for my hip replacement there were no rooms available which in my opinion speaks very highly of this facility!

I would not recommend Spring River as a resident or employee, both are mistreated. Fees paid by the residents goes into the pockets of corporate and management and not to working employees and the facility upkeep. State health standards never met and an embarrassment to the Joplin community.

My mother lived at Hickory Point Christian Village for over 2 years. Her caregivers were compassionate and kind. Mom felt at home with all the loving care she received. There was so much for her to keep busy. Mom enjoyed all the activities and enjoyed Sunday afternoon church service. She received excellent care. My family truly recommends HPCV to care for their parents and family.

Most days...yes...today, my m-I-l’s care giver arrived for the morning, only to be called away to another location. We were not notified, nor did they send a substitute! This was not the fault of the care giver, but a FAIL by the office staff!
