For 30 years we’ve been coming to the lakes. Always mooched around Youngs and bought the odd knickknacks including a massive handbell to call for dinner. Mostly retired now we’ve set up in my wife’s family home and we have a few wonderful pieces of furniture to remember you guys. Thank you

I can't believe this wonderful shop is about to close its doors for the last time. Over the years we have purchased three lounge suites, a beautiful Persian carpet along with two other rugs, wall clocks, table lamps, a side table, spode pottery, cushions, all of which were beautiful pieces and purchased with the guidance of 'young' John. Whatever are we going to do without you? Best wishes for your retirement from Colin and Chris. (Us with the very bouncy Border collie whom you have never forgotten. )
I went to visit the antique shop rather than the furnishings shop. There is a room full of beautiful antique oak. If I had the means I would have bought it all!!
