Very quick unloading
Came in for a custom frame for a piece of artwork. Spoke to someone at the front desk and the conversation was a little complicated. Long story short, I had to make a couple calls and trips but ultimately ended up speaking with Steven in the shop. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. In one quick conversation he was able to figure out what I needed and got it done. Plus he followed up with me when it was ready. It was done perfectly.
I came in 2 weeks ago asking for a price for a door. I gave all the info to the lady at the front desk, she was short, not really friendly, but that's not even the problem... the problems is WAITING FOR 2 WEEKS. When she promised I would get an email the next day. I've been calling back . Every time I leave a message, but all I get in response is the same excuse "we are busy and short staffed " and that someone will get back to me but that never happens. I buy lumber from John Wilson Lumber (aka: ABC Supply) because of its quality and very friendly staff (inside and outside). I had a recent issue with an order, and they didn't blink to make it right and 1000% to my satisfaction. Glad too as I wasn't sure what to expect from the new owners.
John, the owner, yelled at me on the phone and accused me of not being aware of a policy that was not disclosed to me. Who goes to a lumber yard and expects the wood to be cut not to spec? I asked multiple times if I needed to pay for milling, Kristin told me no, and the boards were not cut correctly. Do NOT go here if you need great work done. They treat their customers like trash!
