I went to John with questions concerning my tax situation after filing for social security while continuing to work full time.He went through all my information and clarified where I stood with my future tax filing.It was such a relief to know what to expect in April.Thanks John for doing such a thorough job.5 stars
John initially responded quickly. I followed up with him every few weeks for about 2-3 months for an update and have not received a response. He ghosts.
The first year things were fine. But then it got significantly worse each year. Last year I provided everything in April, and the return was barely filed by the Oct 15th deadline. Very little communication, lots of ghosting. Error on the return that we caught. And then Maryland said tax was done wrong and we owed additional money. Very poor experience, would not recommend. Went to TurboTax this year and everything was done in 2 days by a CPA and it cost less.
John is a great guy!
I'm trying to find the right words to describe my experiences and to avoid my review from being too influenced by my emotions. At the end of the day, my experiences with Mr. Curtin was shockingly disappointing. There was simply no communication at all between us.
