Expensive but quality inferior with no recourse when furniture unravels.
I purchased a $5,000 light fixture from a reseller new in box, never opened. The fixture is fine, but the wiring components, remote, etc. weren't in the box. I called John-Richard to ask if I could PURCHASE the missing pieces ... and was told no. They said I had to find the original order details from the person who purchased it first, even though I have no way to know who that person was. Without notice the John Richard origami mirror was taken off the market & discontinued. Why? It’s a beautiful mirror and I want to purchase it! Bring back the John Richard Origami Mirror!!! I like John Richard products but I’m not purchasing anymore unless they bring back the John Richard Origami Mirror !!!
John Richard Faceted Cut Crystal Nine-Light Chandelier AJC-9139. PURCHASED 18 MONTHS AGO AND STOPPED WORKING. John Richard provides a lousy 12 month warranty on this $$$$ chandelier. After 12 months they will only generously sell you the parts to fix it. Between that and the bill for the numerous visits from an electrician this fixture is a money pit.
I purchased John Richard flowers from Horchow and the flowers did not look like the picture online. I originally had 1 of these bouquets that I purchased last year. I realized this year that I needed a second one. I expected the quality of the new bouquet to match that of the original one, but it did not. The new bouquet was missing foliage and there were gaps in the arrangement. Additionally, there was noticeably less faux water in the vase.
