John can understand the problems with your body that you are struggling to communicate with words. He has an exceptionally strong touch when prompted and does a great job of easing into the massage to warm up the body. I was in so much pain I struggled to sleep last night, but when I got off that table I was at ease!
i have a chronic shoulder pain that worsened while staying at a nearby hotel. mr john was professional, methodical, & skilled. he took the time to evaluate & analyze my pain and range of motion and adapted his focus, taking great care not to cause undo pain. he was clear & let me know what to expect and my shoulder now feels so much better. this impromptu massage session did not disappoint! i wish i lived in the area bc he is a hidden gem.
John is great at what he does. Very knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a CMT in Oakland.
