I worked here as an overnight floor tech (cleans floors) for nearly 5 months. During my first 3 weeks of training, I was placed on mornings. What I saw during those 3 weeks of training was enough for me to realize that I wouldn't even put my own parents in this place even if they were absent/abusive. The staff talk down to the residents, ignore call lights, and rush them to eat their meals. I can recall a specific instance where a resident was wheeled into the restroom. Staff is very rude and doesn't care they need new management to run this building
2 star is generous. As a health care provider I was appalled at the poor treatment of my father in law for rehab after a compression fx of his back. We had one aide who cared, but staffing was extremely poor. Our concerns were discounted over and over. Care extremely poor and made even more evident after we needed a second rehab. He is now very well cared for in a facility closer to me and we realize the extent of what he was missing previously. Thank you Via Christi Pittsburg...shame on you John Knox. My mother is receiving great care! The nursing staff is great and very attentive! There are a variety of activities for those with limited abilities. The facility is older but clean and odor free!
