The ranch is a beautiful facility. Our troop utilized the primitive camping and the rock climbing/rappelling activities and had a really good experience. The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. I will return with my family in the future for a weekend getaway.

I took my family of 4 to the family camp in August and had a very positive experience. Devotions were appropriate for the little ones (ie short). Food was very good and activities were fun for everyone. It is a beautiful property. We stayed in the duplex cabin which had plenty of space and good climate control. The program director took time to talk to me personally and answering all my questions. We are signed up for the March family camp and are bringing another family from our church.
My three grandchildren loved summer camp at John Knox Ranch last summer. It was their first time to attend. They raved about all the fun activities…swimming, fishing, kayaking, bow and arrow, soccer, etc. They are registered to attend this summer too! Kylie is 8, Sawyer is 7 and Dylan is 6.We would highly recommend J ohm Knox Ranch!!
I use JKR often for facilitating small group retreats. I find it an ideal place to be an easy drive from Austin to get away, be in nature, have very yummy meals and to have plenty of space in the Ranch House and Calvin Cottage to accommodate resting, meetings, etc. I highly recommend!
