When employees were making something like $9 and change an hour (poor) while working for Sam Ash Music, John Hancock decided it would be sensible to allow auto-enrollment into 401k's even though the company we were working for was arguably not paying enough for a large number of their employees to ever hope to retire. This company took part in what imho, would consider to be a technically legal scam of the poor
This company is the absolute worst! I submitted 3 applications to withdraw my funds for financial and medical hardship and they keep rejecting me. These employees are brainless and do not have a clue of what they are doing. The P.O. Box address on the hardship request letter is an OLD ADDRESS. FedEx reported it as "Recipient moved."
